About Our Client
Our client is a leading supplier to the food manufacturing, sugar processing, brewing, distilling and ethanol production industries. They have a fantastic reputation for quality and have an international reach. They offer a variety of developed natural products. They are part of a vertically integrated company structure and have great control over their products and product development. They have a fantastic amount of resource and knowledge about their products as well as the "technical know-how" to apply them to industry and keep up to date with technological advances. They offer their customers' application development, technical support and consulting services.

About the Role
This role is all about sales and supporting the existing sales team to deliver commercial results. You will be part of a small, but specialised team with a core focus on EMEIAA sales in the industrial arm of the business. Your primary focus will be on the sugar and yeast sectors. Your main remit will be to drive sustainable sales into a broad portfolio of customers and markets. When possible, you will spend ~20-30% of your time travelling internationally to visit customers and drive relationships forward. You will utilise your industrial and chemistry knowledge to deliver sales and add value to customers and their processes and products. You will utilise salesforce to schedule follow up calls and keep on top of accounts and stay top of mind with key contacts.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will have knowledge and experience in an industrial setting, preferably from a sugar or yeast background. You will be able to demonstrate your experience of working within a small team and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ideally, you will have a chemistry or engineering degree and be able to grasp the benefits and applications for the clients' products - eg. commercial fermentation and sugar extract processes etc. You will have 1-2 years of experience in a relevant industry and will be looking to develop your career. You will possess some commercial skills and be comfortable presenting to clients. Ideally, you will be fluent in a second European language.

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will need to have a chemistry/engineering background or have a proven experience in technical sales/processes within industry - sugar, yeast, brewing etc. You will need to have a full driving license and a valid passport and be willing to travel. You will have 1-2 years experience in commercial or technical across relevant food manufacturing/processing.
