If you are passionate and knowledgeable about locally sourced food and drink and are considering a new opportunity within an honest and authentic organisation, then we are keen to hear from you.

We are looking for a tenacious, enthusiastic Food and Drink Buyer with a real ‘can do’ attitude to help shape our food and drink business into the future. This is a rare opportunity for someone looking for an exciting and varied career within a busy procurement team. We are looking for someone who is South West based or willing to relocate.

Commerciality is a must, coupled with a strong work ethic, a real passion for locally sourced food and drink and a head for numbers. No two days are ever the same and the pace is fast – sourcing for 58 stores and working with over 250 suppliers of a range of sizes, many of whom are also our customers. Sourcing quality local products and providing our customers with great value for money are at the heart of what we do. From managing supplier relationships, ranges, pricing and promotional strategies, to product lifecycles and new product development, there is never a dull day.

The successful applicant will have great negotiation and people skills, including the ability to build and maintain key relationships both internally and externally. Sound Excel and analytical skills are a must, as is the ability to work on your own as well as managing the food and drink team of four.

We are keen to hear from anyone who meets some or all of all of the above and would be happy to hear from people with B2B sales experience in the industry, or with buying experience in a different sector but with a strong interest in food.
