Job Details
We're looking for a driven New Business Controller to join our client, a privately owned, growing SME food business.
The business has grown strongly over the recent past because of a growing customer base, innovation to drive further free from / vegan lines, and increased sales of their brands.
With a firm presence already established in each grocery retailer, as well as discounters and convenience, this role will implement and lead growth strategy to achieve further growth, supported heavily by innovation.
Responsible for leading a small team and reporting directly to the board, this is a newly created and critical role within the companies’ structure.
In order to be considered for the role, it’s essential applicants demonstrate success whilst operating within fast-paced chilled manufacturing environments. Current or very recent success with the grocery multiples is also essential, whist exposure and success across additional customer channels will further support your application.
With significant plans for the business over the course of 2021 and 2022, the successful candidate will naturally be ambitious, driven and looking for an opportunity to ‘step up’ and across into a role where you will be fully exposed, but given an opportunity to take full ownership of and accountability for the future performance of the business, and enhance your experience and personal reputation along the way.
We are looking to move swiftly on this particular assignment, with registered interest preferred before the Monday 24th May 2021. Applications after this date will of course still be considered.
