Sales & Marketing Manager | Drinks & Ingredients | Herefordshire
Salary ~£Competitive
Do you have a mixture of sales and marketing experience? Do you have a background in the food sector or ties to farming and horticulture? If so, we want to hear from you

About Our Client
Our client is a growing brand and supplier of specialist ingredients to leading packers and bottlers in the drinks industry. They have a small, dynamic team that regularly punches above its weight. The ingredients that they supply are often free from preservatives and focus on natural products. They also offer NFC, concentrates, purees and aroma products. They are linked to the farming and horticulture industries and grow some of their own raw materials for processing. They have also won the fruit juice business with a major discounter and have further growth ambitions.

About the Role
You will work closely with the Managing Director to deliver marketing initiatives and manage several key B2B accounts and look for new business opportunities. You will help develop a better website to deliver eCommerce results and brand recognition. You will also help develop and build a CRM for multi-channels to aid business growth. You will have the autonomy to trial different marketing campaigns. You will work closely with key B2B customers to continue growing the business and ensuring the products are making the most of potential opportunities in the market.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a food/drinks ingredient background and have a mixture of sales and marketing experience. You will be comfortable in customer-facing sales as well as creating and delivering marketing strategies. You will understand the importance of knowing what your marketing budget is delivering and what return you are getting on your investment. Ideally, you will have a background in developing systems/processes to build a multi-channel CRM that will add value to the business. You will grow with the business and develop your skills and career. This role will initially be remote but may have more time in the office in the future.

Minimum Requirements
As a minimum to be considered for this role, you will need to have experience in a sales or marketing role and be able to move at pace in an FMCG environment. You will need to build business strategies, be adaptable, and roll up your sleeves to get involved in different areas of the business and its systems and processes.

Application Process
The successful candidate will move through a two-stage interview process and our client is keen to get this person in place ASAP
