What’s the role?
This role is responsible for developing and executing a clear EU commercial strategy to deliver profitable plans & outperform budget across all of our brands & categories in the E-com channel (Pureplay customers & D2C) - ensuring consistency with the company’s 5-year strategy. The candidate will be able to have impact in a ‘Lead Market’ model; collaborating, influencing and building capability across multiple teams & functions in our EU business to set & coordinate delivery of EU E-Com strategy…whilst directly managing the UK E-Com team and owning the UK E-Com business.
This exciting role will play the pivotal part in developing & executing the next phase of our EU E-Com strategy and be at the forefront of the fastest and most dynamic part of our business. Responsibilities will include pricing, promotions, content, assortment, ratings and reviews, search and building outstanding retail relationships…as well as heavily influencing our product pipeline to ensure we have an assortment which enables us to continue to deliver dynamic growth and win in the channel.
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Experience leading others and developing direct reports
- Experience influencing internal strategy and product development
- A proven ability to influence and lead teams across multiple geographies
- Deep understanding and experience leading a FMCG business in Amazon (5 years +, working with AVS, master data, etc)
- Strong data analytics and digital insight
- Strong FMCG pureplay commercial leadership experience – hands on experience managing e-com customers with additional experience across DTC beneficial
