Key Account Manager - Digital

Brindisa offers premium Spanish gastronomy, drawing on 33 years of carefully sourcing fine Spanish food for the UK market. The classic ingredients of Spanish cooking are available from our shops at Borough Market, Balham, online and our five restaurants.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our fast-paced and competitive Trade Sales Team.   Brindisa is a wholesale business providing the most delicious Spanish foods nationwide to Delis and Restaurants, Online, the Multiples, Food Halls and Wholesalers.  Our team is friendly and our industry is broad and we are looking for someone enthusiastic and determined. 

This role should appeal to a candidate who uses their tenacity and skill to drive sales across the Online sector. Multifaceted, you will get involved in all aspects of running accounts from product development, supply chain to finance.   The role also has line management responsibilities with one direct report. 

 

Key aspects of the job:

Maintaining and developing strong relationships with our Third-Party Online customers in order to set and meet monthly sales targets

Developing strategies to drive sales across the sector, with the ability to build and negotiate key customer business plans

Acting as the day-to-day contact for the customer, owning the relationship and resolving issues in timely manner

Working closely with the Marketing department to drive key customer marketing initiatives

Liaising with Supply Chain teams both internally and externally to ensure a high level of service

Building volume forecasts for key customer promotions, feeding these to our Stock team

Regular reporting of key performance metrics

Ability to understand and use data to inform key business decisions

Commercial and operational management of our direct-to-consumer website – developing products, planning promotions and managing pricing

 

 

Required skills:

Experience in account/relationship management with experience managing Online and/or Grocery accounts

Strong commercial acumen

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Sound knowledge of the UK retail and online sector

Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders across the business from Warehouse, Buying and Stock teams

Drive to develop new ideas from beginning to end and seek out opportunities to drive growth

Intermediate excel skills

A passion for food and keen to learn about Spanish food

For successful candidates we offer:

A competitive salary of £38,000 - £45,000 per annum plus OTE
