We're looking for a driven Account Manager to join our client, a privately owned, growing SME food business.
The business has grown strongly over the recent past as a result of a growing customer base as well as increased sales their brands.
The role involves taking full responsibility for, & growing both own label and branded business in a number of current and new customers.
The experience we need
Educated to a degree level in a business or marketing subject.
You will have over 2 years' experience working as an account executive/manager, preferably within the chilled food industry & selling to the major multiples.
Exceptional organisation, planning and IT skills are required, as well as a talent for spotting opportunities and developing your accounts.
We want an individual that is self-motivated, confident communicator and is willing to go the extra mile to succeed with an entrepreneurial flair.
You will be an integral part of the business working for the Senior Account Manager.
You will work alongside the SAM ,and Brand Manager with the ultimate goal of delivering new profitable sales.
The role will provide significant exposure and interaction with all grocery retailers as well as other customers in the discounter and convenience channels. The role will involve some basic admin duties, running reports for your customers, creating category plans, turning data in to intelligence & therefore opportunities. It’s a varied and exciting role, where no two days are the same, and offers the ideal platform for somebody in the earlier stages of their career in National Accounts to accelerate their own career development as the business continues its growth.
