Sales Controller - a well-established SME with a strong portfolio of brands alongside significant private label ranges.
The business has recently identified a major new growth opportunity. Reassuringly, they've invested heavily to support a major innovation project, before going to market to identify the right person to now drive this new portfolio of predominantly branded offerings.
Their new portfolio drives right at the heart of todays savvy, heath-conscious consumers, promoting free from, vegan and vegetarian products. With a number or listings already (and very quickly) launched in 3 of the major mults as well as discounters, they now require somebody to take full ownership of their new venture, work with the board to further develop strategy to achieve ambitious growth ambitions, and lead, develop and inspire a team to support you in your new role.
Preferred candidates will have a branded food and/or beverage background and a demonstrable record of success of driving new, and in some cases first-to-market ranges across multiple customer channels. Success in doing with the major mults is essential, but the ideal candidate will also have achieved this with discounter, food service and/or convenience channels.
The role is a truly home based position, but will obviously require weekly site visits.
Experience aside, the successfully selected candidate will naturally be an entrepreneurial and driven individual, not scared to bring their own ideas to the table, able to inspire a team with your focus, determination and drive for success.
