A super high-growth pure-play consumer products business based in North Yorkshire is looking for a Head of Amazon to join their team and manage 4 regional Amazon Account Managers, driving the growth of brand sales via the platform. Recognised as one of Amazon's key sellers, the business trades well with the account but is growing internationally, particularly in the US, and is looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Amazon expert to lead the strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Full ownership of Marketplace channel P&Ls & KPIs
• Full ownership of new & existing product strategies, pricing and promotional activities, to drive sales and profit growth
• Develop and monitor KPIs for each Marketplace channel manager and lead the Marketplace team
• Ensure optimum product placement, merchandising, SEO optimization and visibility across all marketplaces
• Use channel analysis and insight to improve marketplace efficiency and drive sales
• Ensure best in class brand and product content
• Own direct relationships with Amazon account managers to build strong mutual partnerships
• Ensure the timely launch of new products across all Marketplace channels
• Work closely with the Product & the Commercial teams to ensure optimum demand fulfilment
• Identify opportunities for new features and functionality across Marketplaces that can improve key site metrics

Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience and a demonstrable success in successfully managing and growing a brand via Amazon Seller Central and other major marketplaces
• Experience of managing and developing a team
• A thorough understanding of marketplaces, marketplace tools and advertising concepts
• Highly analytically minded and a keen eye for detail
• Strong Excel Skills
• Highly adaptable with the ability to work under pressure
• Able to work cross-functionally to achieve the overall company strategic vision
