Do you want to be part of a business that is a market leader within the plant-based sector? With an innovative product and fantastic culture, this business is on a brilliant growth track, and as such looking for someone to join the team to lead the UK Commercial & NPD function. With a strong NPD pipeline and major listings agreed this business is only going from strength to strength, and you will be instrumental in the growth of this business.

You will have previously been part of a business that has gone from an embryonic stage to multiple millions in turnover or you will be able to demonstrate significant growth. You will have led and developed sales teams across the UK grocery market within a food or drink product, and you will have a passion for the food and drink sector. The business boasts a fantastic culture, and it is important that you must have the ability to not only bring technical expertise but support the cultural growth of the business moving forward.

The correct person will be highly valued within the business and will be responsible for driving the ambitious growth plan of the next phase of the business. You will have a team of 10 direct reports that you will motivate to deliver the founders vision of the business. You will join a business that is incredibly passionate about their product and the team and you will be influential in the growth of the business that has huge potential.

  • Demonstrable senior sales experience specifically in the food or drink industry
  • Demonstrable current experience with UK major multiples
  • Experienced in launching NPD into the UK market
  • Experience taking business from the embryonic stage through successful growth or equally experience in achieving significant growth across UK markets.
  • Proven track record of developing teams
  • Understanding of SME/Challenger brand business
  • Passion for driving business
