ABOUT THE ROLE

The Education Division provides print and digital resources across Secondary, Primary and Trade and Children's markets, both for the UK and for customers around the world.  We are passionately committed to our mission to educate and inspire through book, board and screen.

Our mission is to partner with schools to offer bespoke integrated blended service through a collaborative, consultative sales approach, enabling us to support our customers with the right selection of products and services that will enhance teaching and learning.

The Field Sales Consultant role has a key role in driving retention and growth in their area of responsibility by offering practical solutions to teachers in line with their curriculum needs through our range of products and resources. The Field Sales Consultant will work collaboratively with our School Services Consultants to put the customer at the centre and drive opportunities across single schools, MATs, partnerships and networks

Field Sales Consultants are responsible for acquisition and retention of digital subscriptions and closing print and digital sales to achieve individual revenue targets.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ROLE IS A FULL-TIME, TERM TIME ONLY ROLE.  ONCE PERMITTED, WE ENVISAGE 4 DAYS OF THE WEEK WILL BE SPENT TRAVELLING TO SCHOOLS.

ABOUT YOU

Essential skills and experience:

•   Consultative Sales Skills

•   Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•   Ability to create and deliver presentations to a wide variety of audiences

•   Ability to think creatively, independently and flexibly

•   Experience of selling digital products and services

•   Experience of selling to educational establishments

•   Proven track record in sales

Desirable skills and experience:

•   Knowledge of key competitors

•   Knowledge of UK secondary school curricula and high stakes assessment

•   Experience of UK Education Market

•   Experience of selling to UK Secondary schools

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ROLE IS COVERING NORFOLK AND SUFFOLK AND THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL NEED TO BE HOME BASED IN TERRITORY.
