Sales Controller – Into Food Manufacturing
£64,127 to £75,425 Basic plus performance related bonus and company car.
Our client is a world leader in the rice category with a number of market leading brands across the domestic market as well as internationally. We have been briefed to identify and retain an accomplished individual to take charge of the UK market including both the management of existing accounts as well as optimising the myriad new business opportunities available. In this role you will be responsible for your own personal customers, however you will be supported by two Account Executives and relevant support staff. For this reason it would be very much preferred if you have some recent and relevant man management experience, although this is not an essential.
In order to be considered for this exciting role you will be able to demonstrate considerable success selling into the food manufacturing channel. And we will openly consider candidates outside of the rice category for this position, so alternative category experience will not be a barrier. What is more important is your ability to identify profitable sales opportunities, along with your high levels of energy and commercial acumen in order to engage and retain a high quality customer base that has been hard won over many years.
Experience of the NPD process would also be very useful, not so much from a technical point of view, but from a commercial point of view and from a project management point of view. If you can provide the leadership and project management skills, then there will be ample technical support available as required.
Remuneration – In return for your dedication and efforts, our client is prepared to pay a basic salary of between £64,127 to £75,425 plus performance related bonus and company car.
The role is home based so you can live nationally. Whatever your location, you can expect a certain amount of travelling as might be expected in a role of this nature.
