A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a successful senior sales person with a track record of business development and sales growth in the food sector to join this Food To Go SME client as their new Senior Business Development Manager.

We are looking for candidates who have experience at driving new business in Food To Go solutions and tailored services across the UK Retail and Horeca markets.

Description

The Senior Business Development Manager - Foodservice will be responsible for:
  • developing the sales strategy
  • create and implement sales action plans
  • formulate and develop the sales vision for the business across the retail and horeca markets in line with the overall business strategy
  • lead and oversee the formulation of customer proposals and the development of the pricing model
  • build long term and lasting relationships with key customers in the relevant markets
  • lead and drive all major new business opportunities
  • collaborate with all teams across the business to ensure alignment
  • oversee all key projects related to sales and new business to the company
  • sit as part of the senior management team, adding value and innovation at all times


Profile

The Senior Business Development Manager - Foodservice will have the following:-
  • proven experience within a senior sales role in particular business development within the food sector
  • experience of developing customers in retail and horeca with demonstrable examples of success
  • strong level of commerciality and financially experienced with P&L and budgets
  • strong project management skills
  • highly developed personal skills; organisation, presentations and pitches, strong level of ability in front of major stakeholders
  • experience within the food to go category within larger and smaller businesses
  • experience selling into hotels, restaurants, cafes, high street, coffee houses and multiple customers and verticals
  • able to bring good contacts into the role to hit the ground running
  • self starter, results orientated, driven by their own success
  • strong sense of team and culture and bringing a positive approach with them
  • nationally mobile, able to drove without restrictions
  • located in the South East England for the weekly trips to the office
