Job Details

Drinkaware is an independent UK wide alcohol education charity which exists to help reduce alcohol-related harm by helping people make better choices about their drinking.  We are looking for a collaborative and commercially focused Senior Relationships & Acquisition Manager to build strong and meaningful relationships with the organisations that support Drinkaware’s work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience managing and influencing at a senior level and thrives on partnership working. This position will play a pivotal role in acquiring new funders and how we establish opportunities to diversify our income with a strong understanding of strategic thinking and exceeding challenging income targets.

Please download and read the attached job description carefully before deciding to apply. This role is offered on a full-time basis working 35 hours a week, initially for a 12 month term which is likely to be extended.

Drinkaware offers 28 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, a matched 5% pension scheme, life assurance cover, a range of discounted offers and perks, an Employee Assistance Programme, remote working one day a week (although all teams are working from home at present), a season ticket loan, support for your professional development and a fantastic office in a great, central location near Moorgate and Liverpool Street stations. Please see our website careers page for more details.

To apply, please review the attached job description and person specification and then submit your up-to-date CV with a personal statement of not more than 2 sides of A4 demonstrating how you meet the requirements. It is essential that you include a personal statement to fully demonstrate how you meet the person specification for this role. Submit your CV and personal statement via the 'APPLY' button by 9.00 am on Friday 30th April.  Interviews will be held on 17th and 18th May and shortlisted candidates will be notified by the 10th May.  Please be aware that regrettably, due to the anticipated volume of applications, not all candidates will receive a response.  If you have not been contacted by us by 10th May, please know that you have not been shortlisted for an interview on this occasion.

Please note that you must submit both your CV and a personal statement detailing how you meet the person specification requirements. Without both of these it is unlikely you will demonstrate the necessary skills, knowledge and experience needed for the shortlisting process.

Interviews will be conducted remotely via Teams or similar video call facility.

Location: UK Office (Moorgate, London) and home-based*

*Due to the ongoing pandemic, we are unlikely to be fully reopening our London office for a period of 2021. Therefore, the role will involve a mixture of office and home working.  We will continue to review the situation in line with government guidelines.
