The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and developing existing accounts, as well as looking to introduce new stock-holding partners. Looking for someone with drive and ambition to develop new business in a hunter role as well as managing the established account base. My client are distributed into a number of market sectors currently, but they are looking for proactive individuals to continue to break into new markets. This role will initially focus on selling to end users via trade shows, into buying groups and also into wholesale. As Area Sales Manager you will manage your own planner and manage your time to maximize opportunities with clients and develop your area which is covering the South East.
As part of the sales development process, you will find that conducting product demonstrations to distribution partners as well as end users is an invaluable strategy. The business is experiencing continued rapid growth and so you will need to manage your territory efficiently and effectively.

Key Skills/Experience Required:
For this Area Sales Manager role you will have a proven track record of sales success in developing accounts and ideally come from the tools sector or have worked for a manufacturer. You will have a fresh and enthusiastic sales approach and be open to change and improvement as you would be working for such an innovative manufacturing organisation. You will have experience using a CRM system and/or be proficient in using Excel.
Salary/Benefits Information: Package of £30,000 - £35,000 + car + bonus + benefits
