Job Details

The Ecommerce Executive will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Ecommerce to identify opportunities and deliver an industry-leading online shopping experience for B2B and B2C customers across two websites.

This role has ownership of online catalogue of over 25,000 SKUs and is responsible for optimising the website and product catalogue to drive sales and improve the customer journey, while supporting the exciting product range expansion.

My client is a well known manufacturer and ecommerce business based in Bristol with a growing portfolio of over 22k SKUs available to trade and the general public.


The role of Ecommerce Executive will include, but not be limited to the following:

Product Catalogue Management
  • Maintenance of product data in online catalogues across two websites.
  • Working with the Content Executive to ensure product description copy is updated accurately.

Website Updates and Improvements:
  • Updating website banners and featured products to align with marketing campaigns.
  • Developing and maintaining ecommerce category structure.
  • Working with Website Agency to improve website functionality.
  • Working with the Marketing team to track and improve the customer journey.

Ecommerce Optimisation:
  • Implementing improvements to Google Shopping feed.
  • Working with SEO Agency to ensure the website is technically optimised.
  • Optimising product categorisation and suggested products to generate higher conversion and AOV.

Website Analysis:
  • Working with the Head of Marketing and Ecommerce to identify opportunities.
  • Internal trend analysis and market research.
  • Dashboard reporting for internal and external stakeholders.


The successful Ecommerce Executive will posses the following skills and attributes:

  • Strong Excel ability - comfortable working with large product catalogues.
  • Good working knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Basic understanding of HTML.
  • Accuracy and diligence with data.
  • Strong organisational ability.

  • Flexible working pattern (8.30am until 5pm with a 3.30pm finish on a Friday)
