The Content Executive will work with the Head of Marketing and Ecommerce to develop a multi-channel content strategy tailored to growing B2C and B2B audiences and exciting product range expansion

This role will focus on the design and implementation of a new email marketing strategy and working through a large catalogue of product descriptions, with the opportunity of ownership and development of social media channels in 2022.

Client Details

My client is a well known manufacturer and ecommerce business based in Bristol with a growing portfolio of over 22k SKUs available to trade and the general public.


The role of Marketing Executive will include, but not be limited to the following:

Email Marketing Strategy and Delivery:
  • Creating an email marketing strategy to inform, excite and convert customers.
  • Designing and writing email campaigns.
  • Testing and analysis to optimise performance.

Optimised Copywriting:
  • Researching and writing regular blog posts and product guides (up to 6 per month).
  • Working with the SEO Agency to optimise content for our target keywords.
  • Working closely with the Ecommerce Executive to publish content on the site and analyse performance.
  • Work with the Bailey Marketing Team and other stakeholders to produce off-site content.

Product Descriptions:
  • Writing product descriptions for new accessories, products, and large catalogue of spare parts.

Supporting New Product Launches:
  • Supporting the development and marketing of new products such as product naming, press releases, adverts and other launch content.


The successful Marketing Executive will posses the following skills and attributes:

  • Excellent standard of written English.
  • Ability to write for a range of audiences and platforms.
  • Thorough research skills.
  • Ability to plan and schedule multiple content pieces, working to publishing deadlines.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to create a dynamic content plan.
  • Understanding and experience of email marketing.
  • Enthusiasm for learning about new products.

Job Offer

  • £24,000-£30,000
  • Flexible working pattern (8.30am until 5pm with a 3.30pm finish on a Friday)
