Ambitious Senior Category Manager – Homebased with 2 days a week in central London  

Exciting rapid growth SME seeks to appoint experienced highly driven Senior Category Manager with a “can do” attitude within the fast paced Health and wellbeing sector.

Our on trend client already has successfully created an enviable reputation for manufacturing fantastically healthy food products only using the best natural ingredients.  

The products are already stocked on the shelves of major retailers throughout the UK, within the next 9 months the client is aiming to expand into the International export market.  

The business has a work hard play hard attitude. The challenges presented by the rapid growth of the business will be rewarded, giving autonomy and freedom in areas you would not experience from a large blue chip organisation.  

It will not be long before our client is marching shoulder to shoulder with the big players.  

Reporting to the Head of Category, this exciting new role requires the ability to continue to raise the business’s profile within the industry. To achieve this, you will be working across multiple internal stakeholders in sales, NPD and marketing.
 
You will be utilizing a variety of data sources such as IRI, Kantar, Dunnhumby, Nectar 360 amongst others.  This will enable you to identify not just market trends but future opportunities that can be capitalised through your interaction. Meeting with multiple retailers on a weekly basis creating the category vision to develop new strategies for future business growth. Cutting through the data and give the retailers the clarity they want to hear.  

Hence why a dynamic “role your sleeves up” attitude is required along with solid FMCG commercial Category function skill set to enable you to hit the ground running. A high degree of organisational and communication skills are essential.
