Managing Director

We are a fast expanding, dynamic, high-achieving publicly listed company in the international Artisan drinks sector - well financed with a diverse shareholder base and an active acquisition strategy. Having recently completed a major acquisition and successful fundraising, we are now looking to appoint a group MD with responsibilities across the Group’s two principal geographic centres in the South East of the UK. The successful candidate for this newly created role will have high energy, be ambitious and clear thinking, reporting directly to the Executive Chairman.

The company has a strong and very capable manufacturing and operations team with an enviable reputation for product innovation and agile decision-making, complemented and supported by a dynamic, enthusiastic and highly motivated sales and marketing team. The business model is underpinned by market-leading e-commerce technology with connectivity to an increasing number of social media platforms. Knowledge and experience of EDI and working with online retailers including Amazon and Ocado is therefore a fundamental requirement.

The new MD will `own` the business model and budget, requiring a clear understanding and management of a manufacturing biased operation, whilst supporting and developing successful sales and marketing teams. A `listening` team leader who will work well with existing teams, is supportive of people development and who appreciates the dynamics of a fast growing Listed SME is also desired. The ability to meet deadlines, be responsive and have a structured, strategic approach is a pre-requisite.

Continued corporate growth will be driven by organic own brand development supplemented with a well-developed M&A model.
