This position won’t be for everyone though. If sustainability isn’t on your radar or you don’t have the energy and drive needed to invigorate the team and deliver ambitious growth plans over the next 3-5 years, this won’t be for you.
As you’d expect in a growing SME, this is a broad role, highly strategic yet hands on and requires someone who is adaptable, pacey and has already operated in a FMCG business which has been through transformational growth. You will lead a high performing sales team across multiple markets including Grocery and High Street Retail, Independent Wholesale, eCommerce and International.
The successful candidate will hold the following experience/ attributes:
- Branded FMCG background preferably having gained experience in both blue-chip and SME (SME experience is a must)
- Already operating in a Sales Director capacity with proven experience of delivering business growth across multiple channels
- Passionate about sustainability and green credentials
- Passionate with hunger and drive to reach ambitious growth aspirations
- A supportive and encouraging character who has a can-do attitude
- Leads by example taking real accountability to drive change
