National / Key Account Manager – Homebase / B & Q.
£44,459 to £46,897 Basic, Bonus, Car/Car Allowance
Our client is already very much a market leader in timber door frames and windows and enjoys an enviable position in the DIY / Home improvements sector. A recent and substantial investment by the parent company in Europe coincides with an entirely new product range in the garden and landscaping category has presented a lucrative opportunity for an experienced individual to take charge of a handful strategically important retail accounts including both Homebase and B & Q. The opportunities for both commercial success and personal development are massive. The role would be perfect for somebody who is not afraid of complete visibility and accountability, but also relishes the opportunity to really make a name for themselves in a very short space of time indeed.
To be considered for this exciting position you should be well experienced selling into National Retail accounts and it would be something of a bonus if you had specific exposure to / knowledge of either B &Q or Homebase. Experience of selling via the retailers own online portals as well as other independent e-tailers would also be a bonus. You will be required to demonstrate well developed commercial acumen, along with evidence of having used that acumen to good effect in your career to date.
The job involves national travel so you will ideally be based in or close to the midlands . You will also be required to attend a sales conference every February in Holland ( two or three days ).
In return for your dedication and effort our client is prepared to pay a basic salary of between £44,459 and £ 46,897 plus bonus and generous car allowance.
