Operating autonomously within their  group, the UK division  has created success within their category through the ability to apply a long term vision and strategy to its business.  This is evidenced by the recent £multimillion CAPEX investment in plant, creating one of the most respected operations across the UK within this highly competitive category.

As part of the group’s commitment to future sustainable growth, they have over the last 18 months selected a leadership team from some of the best in the industry to maximize the return on the plant investment that has taken place over the last 3 years.

Central to this, is the desire of the leadership team to create a joined up thinking across the commercial, brand marketing and category platforms whilst integrating with operations and production.  Your core focus will be to oversee the development and delivery of a revenue management model that will:

  • Focus trade investment within external customers
  • Increase long term trade and consumer engagement within promotional programs
  • Establish capabilities to maximize EBITDA through alignment of departmental activity and spend
  • Create sustainable growth of branded and own label in both volume and value through maximization of operational efficiencies.
  • Deliver strategy every day.

You will need to gain the trust and respect of multiple stake holders.  This will include those from sales, marketing, category, logistics and operations to deliver this co- joined plan

To succeed you will have experienced both branded and own label environments within your career  and will benefit from exposure to a range of disciplines across your career that would ideally include commercial and category.  Whilst these aptitudes are important, they are less relevant than the attitude you bring with you on the journey in the group.  These will include humility and a strong sense of team working, which together with your instinct for success and winning in unrelenting environments will offer the route to greater seniority across the group in the future.
