Operating as an autonomous division of a significant UK food manufacturer, our client has created an enviable reputation for delivering fantastic food products to consumers who are literally chomping them up. As a result, the retailers have elevated the business to category partner and so to maintain these high standards the business requires a supply chain implant to join the team.
This role will operate within one of the top 4 multiple retailers liaising with the buying, forecasting and supply chain teams to ensure that all delivery metrics between supplier and retailer are achieved. So this is a BIG JOB. The remit is wide and far reaching from managing and assessing forecast and delivery to understanding issues facing manufacture and logistics. During this, the role will mostly interact with the commercial sales team to ensure that the JBP metrics are achieved and the customer objectives are met in full.
You will have great analytical skills; so using V look up and pivot tables will be as important as your personality and interaction with retailer stakeholders to make things happen.
Historically you could come from a breadth of disciplines such as sales, category, supply chain or NPD. Even a buyer who wants to change teams!. The key aspect here is that you have a skill to get things done.
Interested? Forward an updated cv and salary details to Paul Nyman Consultancy who are managing the project exclusively and will be conducting initial interviews for the client in the Yorkshire region throughout the next month.
