Salary - very dependent on experience. Open to people with 3-10 years experience and will remunerate accordingly

About Our Client:-
We are currently working with a progressive and passionate fresh produce business who have made huge strides forward in recent years. As a result, they have a requirement for an experienced Procurement Manager to get under the skin of the whole supply chain to ensure it is running as effectively as possible.

About the Job:-
This role will have responsibility for the procurement of some key fruit categories. With an established grower base, you will need to work closely with them to develop the supply chain, ensuring stock levels are maintained. You will manage forecasts and budgets, collaborating with the Commercial and Technical teams to gain buy-in. You will also be required to maintain close links with their customer and support their commercial team as needed.

The Ideal Candidate:-
You must have experience in Fresh Produce. This is essential so please don't apply unless you have this. After that, they are open to the amount of experience you bring with you. You could 2-3 years experience as a Procurement Assistant looking to take a step up, or you could be a 10+ year experienced buyer looking for a new challenge. The business works very closely with all of its partners, so experience of developing, not just managing, supplier relationships is important. You will have a clear advantage if you can speak another European language - Spanish is preferable but not essential.
