Due to significant growth and investment a brand new Business Account Manager role is available, applicants must have experience in raw materials
The Company
This is a well-established and traditionally a family run business that has developed their European presence over the years. They offer raw material and ingredients into the food sector. Due to significant growth and investment they are expanding and adding a new Business Account Manager to their team.
The Role
In this position you will be driving business with the SME market, this is new business development as well as account management. This role comes with a wide range of responsibilities including:
- Managing and growing your portfolio of accounts
- New business development including cold calling, client visits, lead chasing
- Negotiating sales, growing your sales channels and delivering on KPI’s
- Working with internal and external stakeholders
Your Skills
To be considered you will need:
- Prior experience selling raw materials, commodities, ingredients ideally as a distributor
- Experience in the UK food market with specific knowledge of food ingredients
- The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Proven negotiation skills and a “can do” attitude to work with a goal driven mind-set
