Our client is operating in the UK as a branded retail food manufacturer supplying products that consumers love and admire. In the crowded FMCG market they have separated themselves on Green sustainable credentials through their approach to full sustainability, and it has created a real step change in their growth.
As a result, they are seeking to appoint a commercially orientated category manager able to build and develop category relationships with their key customers that will maintain and grow a category ownership status in their markets
To achieve this, you will, as part of a wider team be responsible for delivering the “So what” scenario to retailers that will enable commercial plans to be delivered and profit strategy achieved.
With 5-10 years category experience in FMCG you will be familiar with Kantar and Neilson data and how to utilise insights to create category visions. This will be balanced by the desire to deliver a great customer solution whilst engaging with your own team in new ways to create exciting marketing led solutions.
