About the company:-
We are working with a leading fresh produce producer who currently supply into some of the UK's largest retailers. This business champions some of the most up to date and advanced farming methods which enables them to produce top quality produce. This position has arisen due to excellent growth and is therefore a great opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with a couple of years experience and looking to progress in the fresh produce industry.

About the role:-
This position will see you assisting and learning a great deal from the incumbent commercial manager, your focus will predominantly be on driving customer relations which are the backbone of the business, but you will also get an oversight into Procurement as well. Relationships will be crucial in this role and how well you can maintain the existing clients with the most favourable terms along with building relationships with new clients to grow the business further. This will be achieved working closely with the Commercial Manager as a very efficient team whilst you learn a great deal about the sector and how the business operates.

The Successful Candidate:-
To be successful in this role you would have the following:
Educated to a degree level or similar qualification, preferably in agriculture, agribusiness or agri-food marketing. Or with some great relevant experience to the produce industry.
A very friendly and affable nature that lends itself well to getting on with people in a business and social environment. Combined with a 'Go Get 'Em' attitude will mean you thrive in the business and this role.
Great Microsoft Office, Communication and Organisational skills will enable you to be precise and efficient at all times.
