Category Manager - 12 month fixed term Interim contract - Homebased with UK Travel. (South M25 Location)   

We are supporting a large global FMCG manufacturer to recruit an experienced Category Manager on a 12 month Fixed Term contract. Homebased with UK Travel. (South M25 Location)  

The client manufacturers well-loved short shelf life own label products and has several sites throughout the UK.

The products really are loved by consumers! 

Are you a dynamic individual with 5 years’ solid experience in a Commercial Category Manager function within an FMCG business? 

The role will involve insights analysis and assessment of category performance to enable commercial strategic decisions to be taken. 

Working part of a team you will continue the growth of the business in the UK retail space.   

You must have strong analytical and numerate skills to derive insight from multiple data sources such as Neilson, Kantar, Retail Link, Dunnhumby and Aimia along with effective spreadsheet analysis skills working with large numeric data sets. 

Lead and grow preferred supplier status through trust, expertise and the proactive management of category strategies and plans, adapting these to the changing needs of the consumer.
