About Our Client:-
Our client are one of the largest Fresh Produce businesses in the country, with a strong history for delivering strong results to their customers and good returns to their growers. Due to increased international challenges, they need a strong and effective Senior Procurement Manager to help them ensure their procurement chains remain strong.

About The Job:-
You will be creating and delivering the international procurement strategy for this category.
This will involve developing existing supplier relationships and sourcing new ones where appropriate.
You will also be responsible for managing the forecasts and budgets, ensuring you are working closely with the commercial and technical teams to gain team buy in.
You will be responsible for mentoring less senior experienced members of the team to ensure they are developing as well.

The Candidate:-
You must have extensive experience within Fresh Produce procurement, ideally with an indepth understanding of South American and/or South African supply chains.
The majority of countries they are sourcing from are Spanish speaking, so being fluent in Spanish is essential!
Experience of developing (not just managing) supplier relationships is important as they work very closely with all of their partners. But they need someone who isn't afraid to stand their ground and push back when needed.
