About the job
As a co-op we are more than the sum of our parts, and we are seeking a Quality Control Team Member to be based at our main offices in Elland, West Yorkshire. This is a Trial Membership role, which is our pathway to permanent employment. As a QC Team Member, your role is to be responsible for ensuring the product or services meet the established standards of quality including reliability, legality and performance in line with Suma’s overall Strategy. Ideally, we are looking for someone with co-ordination experience who will be able to take on leadership of the team in future.

To be considered as a Quality Control Team Member, you will need:
- Previous experience in being part of a Quality Control team in the food sector
- Strong communication skills
- HACCP certification
- Knowledge of conforming to BRC or similar
- An understanding and respect for the co-operative values and principles
- To be willing to work cooperatively
- To want to contribute to the wider business
- To be a professional representative of Suma
