National Field Account Manager

Full Time, 12 months maternity cover

Salary: Competitive basic salary + bonus + company car

Working: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 

Area: Nationwide (ideal candidate will be southern based)

Working for Powerforce, this role will lead a team of 8 Business Development Executives to deliver best in class customer service and be the Day to Day strategic contact for the client.

You will be expected to:

  • Manage, train, develop and inspire a team of Business Development Executive, creating a culture of coaching and people development within the account
  • Lead, instilling passion for performance and driving coverage, incremental sales and profitability for the client
  • Develop the strategic direction of the account – using insight from the field and collected data to drive best practice proposals and new initiatives and driving continuous improvement in operations and ROI
  • Manage and grow the account P&L and ensure Powerforce is embedded within the client
  • Embed and champion the client and Powerforce values across the account and ensure they are lived every day
  • Maximise the client's sales and deliver outstanding customer service
  • Drive sustainable, profitable growth through the key customers as part of a strategic and defined contact strategy
  • Work closely with the Sales teams at the client ensuring that every opportunity is acted upon, proposing ideas and initiatives in line with customer business plans that will drive ROI

You will have:

  • Held a full UK (or European) manual driving licence for a minimum of 12 months
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to analyse and interpret complex sales data
  • Excellent IT skills including knowledge of office 365 packages such as Teams
  • Experience of leading, managing and developing a team
  • Experience of coordinating large scale operations
  • A positive, passionate approach, demonstrating resilience, adaptability and a real will to win
