Job Details
Recruiting for a passionate Senior National Account Manager to manage a high profile DIY retail account portfolio for my client. You will develop account business plans, control account budgets, conduct forecasting and be accountable for the sales and margin mix with a focus on business growth. You will visit your account base regularly developing the brands presence within the customer base as well as gaining understanding of competitor and market trends. As Senior National Account Manager you will be responsible for the introduction of NPD into your accounts working closely with the marketing team to develop promotions, POS and account strategies. You will hold regular meetings with stakeholders as well as reporting and assessing opportunities for sales at business review meetings.

Key Skills/Experience Required:
For the role of Senior National Account Manager you will have experience handling a portfolio of clients specifically within DIY retail, such as Kingfisher, and be well versed in the requirements needed in the managing of large DIY retail accounts such as those mentioned in the job description. You will have experience of managing a high turnover and high profile account base with full P&L responsibility. As Senior Account Manager you will work closely with the other Account Managers across the organisation so a positive, communicative and collaborative approach both with clients and colleagues is a must.
