Job Details

Our client:

  • Global, market leading branded consumer good business with an enviable reputation and high growth in the UK market
  • Portfolio of very well-known products and diverse brands including private-label across multiple categories, predominantly for the home
  • Global presence and stocked in major UK retailers including the top 4 grocers, department stores, high street, online retailers & export to a number of countries
  • Close-knit and collaborative working environment where employees are given trust and autonomy to develop their own career
  • Responsible for managing major UK retail accounts.
  • Create and implement full JBPs for all customers in line with the strategic plans of the business
  • Need to work in a highly strategic & collaborative manner across these customers in order to deliver growth.
  • Must take a category led sales approach, ability to use customer insights and present to retailers
  • Work cross-functionally with all areas of the commercial & marketing teams
  • Need to be a great communicator, team player and able to make a real impact. Must be hungry and keen to develop your career in a branded organisation with major growth plans
  • Forecasting accurately, using internal data and merchandising for all customers

Ideal candidate:

  • Experience within a structured, branded consumer goods or FMCG business – food, drink or non-food
  • Operated at National Account level working with major UK retailers such as grocery, high street or online
  • Comfortable with brands and operated in a consumer goods or large FMCG business
  • JBP management and a category led sales approach
  • Comfortable with using internal data and forecasting
  • Need to have operated in a cross functional environment, be comfortable communicating with all other functions
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Comfortable in a results driven environment and working to tight deadlines
  • Articulate, personable and a great communicator
