HEAD OF TECHNICAL

Reporting to the Technical Director, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality, safety and legality requirements. You will work closely with factories and UK retailers to ensure customer requirements and expectations are met and exceeded at all times. This role will ideally suit a senior technologist or technical manager with several years of technical UK Retail experience, looking for the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the commercial function by working collaboratively with sales and technical
• Develop your expertise in processes and applications including research and new uses
• Be the key quality & technical contact for a selection of key customer accounts
• Contribute to the food safety and quality operations across the group sites
• Host customer and third-party audits for sites
• Represent the business on NABIM & Campden committies as appropriate

To be considered for this role you’ll have the ability to demonstrate:

• Experience of FMCG manufacturing
• Experience in a management role within an operations environment
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Teamworking, collaboration & effective cross functional working
• Organisational skills and proven ability to prioritise multiple projects
• Resilience, drive & results orientation
