Job Details

My client are looking for an experience National Account Manager / Senior National Account Manager level candidate to proper the business into a new channel. They are already successful online, via distributors and via independent retail stores. Your role is to help them break into the discounter channel.

Client Details

My client are a leading personalised gifting business with a Global presence. They have manufacturing established in China and multiple offices throughout Europe. All of the design work is done in-house and so they are very self sufficient and operate in an agile manner.


The key responsibilities will be:
  • Communicating with new and existing clients, building and developing relationships
  • Identifying commercial opportunities
  • Setting budgets
  • Manage the P&L of all of your key accounts
  • Look after each JBP with target customers
  • Understand customer KPIs, targets and review performance
  • Organising and managing regular customer meetings
  • Preparing for meetings and ensuring samples, costs, designs, presentations and proposals are ready
  • Completing market reviews to be done with SWOT highlighted and 'how' opportunities will be achieved
  • Formulating customer specific sales plans/strategies in line with accountable budgets, costing, packaging and retail prices
  • Liaising with the product and technical teams


The successful candidate will have:
  • Current contacts and recent experience within the discounter channel
  • P&L / JBP experience
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to work on your own
  • Be able to spot opportunities
  • Gifting background is a benefit
