Job Title:                        SENIOR NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER – Drinks Top 4 Grocery

Circa £65,000  + company car or allowance + benefits

Based: Manchester Airport 3-4 days per week

They understand the needs of their consumers and retailers and control all aspects of the supply chain to provide profitable solutions.

But this will not be like working for a large blue-chip corporation. They have tight sales and marketing team. You will have total financial insight and the ability to make fast decisions as you will have input to the UK business.

In this high profile Senior National Account Manager role you will be working with a top 4 grocery account and your principle focus will be to grow sales. This National Account is established but will require careful and persistent development to realise their full potential. By speaking to all decision makers within the buying process the job holder will need to understand the needs of the business and how to meet these in all areas of pricing, promotion, and category development.

You will be responsible for negotiating all sales volume, trading terms and will have complete insight to your company’s cost base to create profitable yet attractive proposals.

We are looking for a professional hungry National Account Manager with current or recent experience of dealing with one of the top 4 grocery multiples, with demonstratable commercial and sales success.

Ideally working within the off trade - alcoholic beverages industry, we are looking for an individual with a proven ability to form strong internal relationships with the retailers, an excellent understanding of the supply chain mechanics and the commercial skills to do so profitably.

You will be graduate calibre, coupled with excellent communication skills and high levels of IT literacy and financial acumen. You will currently be a National Account Manager looking for a bigger career opportunity, within a branded and own label company.
