What the job entails.
As the Business Development Executive you will be responsible for accounts within your defined territory of Bristol & Wales. You will journey plan and set a strategy to develop independent and key accounts. You will report to the Area Sales manager who will be there to support and coach you. The successful candidate will develop and influence key business relationships between you and your customers to ensure mutual growth and long term partnerships. The sales territory compromises of a mix of direct and indirect supplied customers including -  Grocery, Convenience, Wholesale, Foodservice, Higher Education, Health and Fitness, Regional Vending Operators, Foodservice delivered wholesale, regional contract catering accounts etc.

This is a stretching & diverse role and candidates should have a real passion for sales. You will be results driven and tenacious, have the ability to think outside the box to identify new opportunities, and be self-motivated to deliver against ambitious growth targets. With a varied mix of customers, channels and a split of new business (70%) and existing business (30%), candidates will need to be able to manage complexity and possess excellent planning, communication & commercial skills.

The successful Business Development Executive will have:

  • Current experience in one of the following roles: Currently hold the position of National Account Executive, Business Account Executive, Customer Development Executive, Sales Rep, Key Account Executive or equivalent. You will be looking for the next step in your career and will have the future potential to progress within the Suntory GB&I business.
  • Ideally have experience of Sales in a branded FMCG business.
