My client is a leading manufacturer of Contract Furniture predominately supplying the care sector. Due to a successful last 12 months my client is looking for a new Area Sales Manager to develop new business and grow existing accounts across the South of England, with a focus on the South West.

My client is a family business, offering outstanding range of quality furniture and furnishings to care sector customers. My client is looking for an individual who has a strong sales background who understands what is required to deliver sales to the care sector. 

The successful candidate will join a business that focusses on creating long-term customer relationships.

As a new employee you can expect a collaborative, supportive and inclusive culture.

A proven track record of selling to the Care Industry is a minimum requirement. Ideally candidates will have experience of contract furniture. 

Requirements for the role include:

  • Knowledge of Contract furniture for the Care Industry
  • Successful track record of meeting sales targets
  • Ability to seek out and maximise new business opportunities
  • Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Methodical approach with great level of accuracy
  • Be able to work with in a team and generate business /  forecast plan for area
  • Generate new business 
  • Managing new business from initial contact through to completion
