About the job:-
We are working with a very highly regarded Food Manufacturing business who are looking to appoint a Senior Procurement Manager to cover their Packaging, Ingredients and Indirect sourcing. You will be managing a significant budget on their rigid plastics requirements as well as covering some indirect spends as well. This is a great opportunity to work with a very experienced team of procurement professionals

About the Role:-
Working closely with the Procurement Director, you will be providing key support to the wider team. This will be in terms of understanding the requirements of the business and offering ideas and solutions. You will be empowered (with support) to go out and improve the costs and / or service you receive from your suppliers. Relationships are key to success in this role. The business work in a collaborative way and they need someone who mirrors this approach.

The Ideal Candidate:-
You will have significant experience as a procurement manager and have in depth experience of packaging procurement within a food business. It is really important that you are a team player and that you are driven to achieve the best results.
