Do you have 1-2 years experience in supply chain/forecasting / commercial support within the retail supply chain? Are you hungry and driven to progress your career? Would you like to manage key commercial relationships for a big food supplier in the future? If so, this might be the role for you.

Up to ~£35k + package and progression

Our client is a leading manufacturer of fresh/chilled food. They supply the major UK food retailers, discounters and foodservice markets with a variety of products. They have a great reputation for quality and service levels and have built real, collaborative relationships with their customers. They have multiple locations across the UK, each with state of the art facilities that have seen significant investment. Our client is committed to delivering products which add value to their customers and consumers.

About the Role
This role will focus on the commercial relationship and supply chain for our clients' Morrison's business. The role will be based out of the Morrisons head office in Bradford with travel to our clients manufacturing sites ~ 1 day a week. You will utilise your supply chain and forecasting experience to drive efficiencies and make the most of any commercial opportunities within the customer. You will be adept at using Excel and forecasting experience would be a real positive. You will use these skills to ensure a sufficient supply of products to meet the demands of consumers, whilst simultaneously reducing waste in a very fast-paced and short shelf-life product environment.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a supply chain / commercial support experience in a food retailer/food retail supplier. You will be hungry to progress your career and potentially move into a national account manager role in the future. You will be a strong communicator and be able to stand on your own two feet and be self-assured. You will be able to problem-solve and work closely with internal/external teams to deliver.

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, as a bare minimum, you will need to have a relevant degree, be confident and a strong communicator. This role will involve working on advanced Excel spreadsheets so practical experience of using VLookUp's, Pivot Tables etc.
