An exciting position has become available for a tenacious, hungry and ambitious sales (retail or consumer goods background) professional to join my client as their new Field Sales Executive - South to head up sales across a large region.

Client Details

My client is a leading barbecue brand based on the south.


The Field Sales Executive - South will pick up and run with a large territory across the south. They will spend their time visiting and selling into independent and large regional garden centre clients and similar customers, influencing sales, helping to support product training and knowledge and growing sales across many customers.

They will also support with the merchandising for the products and be on hand as and when the customers need them to maximise sales opportunities. The role will see this person representing the brand and business positively in the market, being busy, flexible and available and be hands on.

The successful candidate will work to agreed sales and customer targets and agree customer plans each year with key customers.


The Field Sales Executive - South will ideally come with the following skills and experience:
  • ideally we would like someone who has worked within a garden centre previously or currently, or someone who has sold into this sector recently
  • ideally someone who has worked with products such as BBQ's and / or other medium ticket products sold into this sector
  • have experience of b2b, d2c selling, excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • have the right attitude and approach, be keen to learn and maximise this opportunity to grow with a great business
  • have a full, clean drivers license and be very flexible around the working week for travel and sales meetings when required
  • ideally be based in the south east England area or in the south generally

Job Offer

up to £30,000 base salary per annum + company car + agreed commission/OTE
