Business Development and Marketing Manager – Leading Solicitors Practice.
£45-55,000 Basic + Benefits
Our client is a leading firm of solicitors with clients in both the Corporate sector, as well as high net worth private clients.
The Business Development and Marketing Manager will have full responsibility for promoting the brand across all marketing channels, including various websites, online and print advertising, SEO, social media, PR, radio, webinars and events, digital newsletters, cross referrals amongst teams and building the database.
Experience of making pitches to and negotiating on an individual basis with large corporate clients would be advantageous, but is not by any means essential.
Reporting to the managing partner, the successful candidate will take responsibility for the development and running of the marketing plans including budget responsibility for individual departments. On a day-to day basis you will liaise with external agencies and consultants, co-ordinate the day-to-day running of marketing activities with the partners and be responsible for building a pipeline and converting prospective employer clients and prospects by following up on attendees to our events, pitching and tendering for new business.
We are looking for a high-quality graduate or equivalent with good business acumen and previous marketing and business development experience ideally gained within a professional services firm. Experience of presenting to larger corporates would be an advantage but not a requisite. The main attribute will be excellent communication skills.

This is predominantly a home based role and you should be based in London or the South East of England.
