Job Details

Our client:

  • Global, market leading non-food consumer good business with a fantastic reputation in the industry, looking for a Regional Sales Manager to cover the Midlands territory
  • Portfolio of very well-known products and diverse brands including private-label across multiple categories, predominantly for the home
  • Global presence and stocked in major UK retailers including the top 4 grocers, department stores, high street, online retailers & export to a number of countries
  • Close-knit and collaborative working environment where employees are given trust and autonomy to develop their own career 
  • Working as a Regional Sales Manager covering a designated territory across the Midlands
  • Driving growth across existing customers & building relationships whilst also developing new business across the area
  • Overall sales responsibility, forecasting, planning and merchandising
  • Customer channel likely to include independent retailers, small department stores & garden centres for example
  • Weekly journey planning, implementation of distribution & promotional strategy

Ideal candidate:

  • Experience within a structured branded non-food consumer goods product category. Candidates from more classical FMCG businesses will be considered
  • Experience of managing your own territory, understanding steps to a call and managing your own journey plans
  • Operating as a territory or area sales manager in a consumer goods or FMCG environment
  • A great relationship builder, keen to develop and grow the area
  • Brand orientated
  • Must be strong willed, determined and able to build relationships internally & externally
  • Comfortable in a results driven environment and working to tight deadlines
  • Happy to travel & Midlands based to cover the designated territory.
