I am currently recruiting a Trade Marketing Manager position for a highly reputable client of mine within the Garden & Leisure industry. The right candidate will need to have experience in a trade marketing position, as well as knowledge of how to manage and grow social media accounts. You will also need to have a creative side and be able to demonstrate that from previous positions. With this being an 80% office-based role, the ideal candidate will need to be within a commutable distance of Swindon.

You will work closely with the Marketing Director and Sales teams to define and run a programme to engage with the established Dealer network through regular communication and be instrumental in advancing the performance across this channel.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of the UKs largest family run businesses in the Garden industry. An exciting role with the ability to make real change by driving the marketing strategy across key retailers both online and through bricks & mortar stores.

• Demonstrable success in a Trade Marketing position, with ideally 3 years’ experience in a commercial FMCG environment
• Experience is “in design” or similar with proven creative ability.
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical skills, financial acumen and ability to interpret detailed data
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent written ability
• Possess a can-do attitude.
• Be self-motivated with a flexible attitude to get the job done!
