what you'll be doing
We are looking for someone brilliant to shape and lead our European market data and insights for a 12 month, fixed term contract.
This role brings to life market data across Europe, by turning data into simple and compelling insights and narratives. You will play a key role in helping innocent make better informed decisions, improve forecasting and long term performance, whilst holding us to account against our goals and projections.
You’ll be based in the European Insight and Category Strategy team, a new team whose key purpose is to put consumer and insight at the heart of our European Marketing Function. You’ll work in close partnership with the planning, portfolio strategy, and marketing finance teams to provide an ongoing view of how we are doing in the market and deep diving on specifics too. You will be the central point of contact for the regional category and insight teams, working with them to provide a consistent group view of our performance.
An important part of this new role will be to review and overhaul legacy reporting across Europe, to relaunch our European reporting suite, ensuring it is future proofed and aligned to business priorities. This will involve designing and implementing consistent market tracking across Europe, setting direction for the cross-functional team across our regions. You’ll also be responsible for leading a project to deliver an automated dashboard solution, turning all our lovely data into useful data viz reporting, to give teams around the business quick, consistent access to meaningful data and insight at their fingertips.
A love of all things number-related and experience of working within a consumer goods environment, understanding the broader consumer landscape to help make sense of market performance. You’ll be a pro at dealing with market data from providers like Nielsen and Kantar and will have demonstrated an ability to turn data into insights, to influence business decisions and drive change. A compelling communicator, who is excited by sharing what they have discovered and ability to influence at a senior level.
To be part of an entrepreneurial business that was built with data at its heart from day 1. You’ll have exposure to decision making at Board-level, being the person we look to to understand how we are performing across Europe, and to to tell us where the opportunities lie and how to make the most of them. You’ll be part of a close knit central team and will work alongside other lovers of data across our insight and category strategy European community, to develop your knowledge and share ideas.
