THE COMPANY

SOS Wholesale Limited, the UK’s premier delivered wholesaler has an exciting opportunity for a commercially focussed Supply Chain Manager/ Experienced Buyer. Based at our Derby Office, reporting to the Trading Director and Managing Director.    

THE ROLE

Develop and maintain supplier relationships

Manage stock & order process (regular lines)

Managing stocks to include effective pricing and maximising on supplier’s promotional activity

Product range maintenance and development

Supplier rebate, overrider and JBP execution

Motivate and inspire team members

Manage, plan and deliver promotional activity for our monthly magazine

Involvement in stock management for periodic stock-takes

THE PERSON

Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy

Excellent communicator who applies a logical and analytical approach

Previous experience in Procurement in the UK of FMCG (preferred categories Confectionery, Soft Drinks, Grocery and Household) is ESSENTIAL

Knowledge of Swords’ Software advantageous
