Senior Commercial Manager - Major Retail

An Ambient Food manufacturer are looking to add a Senior Commercial Manager to their team focussing on their two largest accounts Tesco & Sainsbury's.

The Sainsbury’s account is their fastest growing customer and has a lot of potential for more growth while Tesco is the largest.

The business is predominately Own Label focused with some brands, and work across Retail, wholesale and industrial. The role also offers the chance to travel abroad with customers to visit the sites in Italy.

The role offers a lot of autonomy and will require a hands on and driven candidate to lead cross functional projects.

The Role:

• To manage & grow the Tesco & Sainsbury’s account – Full P&L responsibility
• Potential for management if candidate has experience in this.
• Own Label focussed
• Mix of Office & Home based, with customer visits once every two weeks

The Candidate:

• Must have experience working with the major grocery retailers, preferably Tesco or Sainsbury’s
• Own Label & Ambient product experience preferred 
• Be very autonomous and initiative
