Job Details
Our client is a leading manufacturer of added value chilled and frozen foods with multiple manufacturing facilities and strong existing agreements/ close working relationships with all major Grocers in the UK plus an expanding international customer base.
The Role
- Reporting directly to the Board you will have complete strategic autonomy for the commercial activity across various UK Grocery accounts with a focus on increasing market share and profitable revenues across existing accounts whilst constantly seeking new/ additional revenue streams in a highly autonomous role.
- Will lead a multifunctional team across sales/ accounts, marketing, category, technical and NPD.
- Will regularly liaise with, work closely alongside and develop exceptional mutually beneficial commercial relationships with customers at the highest level to ensure group and joint/ customer targets are achieved.
The Person
- Degree educated you will have a proven track record in a senior commercial leadership position within the food sector with the ability to prove you can grow profitable revenues and market share across UK Grocery retail accounts.
- Extensive exposure to UK Grocery retailers with the gravitas to represent the business at a senior level in a highly autonomous role.
- A rounded commercial business leader with exceptional communication skills, you will be keen to operate through both a strategic and hands on customer centric approach.
