This is an exciting opportunity to join Berry Global, a plastic and recycled packaging industry leader.  Following acquisition of RPC, this combined successful Group generates sales in excess of $12 billion p.a. employing over 48,000 people worldwide.

Part of the Bramlage Division, which manufactures high quality, innovative and sustainable plastic packaging, the M&H Cluster operates from 11 sites producing plastic bottles, jars, flexible tubes and closures, for a diverse customer base across Food, Personal & Health Care, Beverage, Homecare & Industrial and Medical/Pharmaceutical.

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director of the M&H Cluster, your overall objective will be to lead a team (direct and in-direct) of Sales Development Managers, ensuring the profitable growth of the Food sector, by offering multi-product and systems solutions manufactured across all of the M&H sites.

The Sales Manager will be personally involved in the strategic development of a £multi-million sales portfolio, including key account management and business development.  He/she will ensure exceptional service level criteria is achieved, working closely with internal and external stakeholders, and leveraging the network of Berry Global to maximise growth potential.

Candidates will have proven sales leadership/key account/business development experience, gained in a high volume, food or beverage packaging manufacturing environment. Plastics processing experience would be a distinct advantage.  Exceptional candidates from a high-volume food/beverage manufacturing environment, with Retailer experience, will also be considered.

You will have demonstrable experience in developing long term, profitable customer relationships through the implementation of innovative key account and business development strategies and the effective development of sales teams.
