As the Senior Regional Retail & Events Marketing Manager there will be a lot to tackle.

Year 1 challenges will be around understanding the complexities of a global business and its multiple brands.  Once this has been done, working with the wider European commercial teams will be a top priority.

This role has accountability to drive both the strategic agenda and implementation of consumer experience in both online and offline retail partners.

if one thing 2020 has taught us, it’s that your e-commerce and online strategy needs to be on-point and ensuring the experience and positioning are as strong as the key UK/European retail accounts.

Performing with and through your team of three, you will be accountable for:

  • Leading and delivering the 1-3 year regional retail activation & events strategic plan across Europe and Asia for the following:- Online, Events, In-store permanent, In-store promotional and Catalogues
  • You will partner with Global brands, Global events, Global agency teams to drive excellence in planning and activation
  • Proactively drive enhancements in service, process, and ROI and maximise all potential centralisation opportunities across the region
  • Deliver annual events program within the deadline overseeing development production and delivery of projects from proposal to activation
  • Manage point of sales, events, and samples budgets, prioritising strategically important Brands and Customers
  • Lead and develop the retail activation performance framework and implementation tracking to ensure excellence in execution and maximum ROI

We would expect you to be operating as either a Senior Regional Retail and Events Marketing Manager, European Marketing Manager, Shopper Marketing Controller, Trade Marketing Controller or Customer Marketing Controller.  I know, it’s a big ask but you will have covered online also.
